Cool off with a Yuletide ghost story this summer! SUMMER OF MAGIC BLOG HOP

It's soooooo hot outside --- but you can cool off with some supernatural shivers, walk a winter wonderland with a sexy ghost, then chill out with a shower scene that'll have you reaching for a towel. And it's all wrapped up in a Yuletide romance!

Say what?

No, really, it's Christmas in July over in Dani Harper Land! And the story is my paranormal romance, THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Human beings LOVE to have their spines tingled!
When I wrote THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT, a lot of people (mostly non-readers) asked "Why on EARTH would you want to mix ghosts with Christmas?" Turns out that they're a natural fit. The telling of ghost stories during the holidays was a very popular Victorian tradition -- especially on Christmas Eve! (and if you think that's creepy, you should check out some popular nineteenth century parlor games that claimed to predict cheerful things like who's going to die soon...)

But hey, isn't that just like our present day campfire traditions? Come on, admit it ... you've watched someone shine a flashlight under their chin and tell a creepy tale or two. Human beings LOVE to have their spines tingled! (And if anything else happens to get tingled too, so much the better! Especially when you're reading a paranormal romance!)

Want to win a Kindle ebook of THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT? I'm giving away TWO of them on this blog. To enter, just leave a comment on the subject of scary stories in general, or about ghosts, Christmas, or frightening camping experiences! (Frankly, I find camping to be MUCH scarier than ghosts... No internet? No TV? Noooooo!)

Winner will be chosen at random and announced on July 10th, 2016. (Open to USA only)

CONTEST IS NOW OVER - see winners below
About THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT by Dani Harper ~

Writer Kerri Tollbrook spends her free time counseling the newly departed, but the tall, dark and handsome spirit she meets at the shopping mall claims he’s not dead. Is he just in denial? Or is something more sinister at work?

Firefighter Galen McAllister has felt like The Invisible Man ever since a malicious spell separated him from his still-living body. Kerri is the first person he's met who can actually see him. Now if only he can get her to listen … because the nightmare creature that trapped him between two worlds isn't finished!
